Small Wild Things Papers 1 is a set of 30 botanical background papers for digital scrapbooking, nature journaling and collage. Each paper is a full 12 x 12 in page of pressed ferns, dried grasses, feathers, oak leaves, acorns and pinecones on a mottled, plaster-textured ground.
The colours are cream, oatmeal and warm sand, with sage, dove blue and dry ochre in the foliage. A photo or a journaling block sits on top without competing with the background.
What’s in these botanical background papers
- 30 papers, each a separate JPG file
- Pressed bracken and lady-fern fronds on cream and grey grounds
- Dried grasses, seed heads and fine stems on warm sand
- Scattered feathers, leaves, acorns and pinecones on pale grey and ivory, plus a few with a small bird or mushrooms in the corner
- Soft washes where the foliage fades into the paper texture, for layering under other pieces
File format and size
- 30 JPG files, 3600 x 3600 px (12 x 12 in) at 300 DPI
- One ZIP file, delivered as an instant digital download
- Full pages, not seamless repeating patterns: the detail sits toward the edges and the centre stays open
Works with
Use them in Procreate, Photoshop, Canva, GoodNotes, Affinity, or any app that opens JPG files. They are sized for digital pages. They are square, so a 12 x 12 in print needs a 12 in paper size and will not fit a Letter or A4 sheet without trimming.
What you can make with them
Use a paper as the base of a scrapbook page, a junk journal or nature journal spread, a memory-keeping album page, a planner cover, a collage or a handmade card. Layer a photo, a tag or a strip of text over the open centre.
The set matches the rest of the Small Wild Things collection, so it sits beside the mushroom and beetle elements, the journal cards and the torn paper scraps.
Licence
For personal and small-business use. You can sell finished products made with the papers, like printed journals, cards and layouts, but you can’t share, resell or redistribute the files themselves.
Instant download
Your files are ready the moment you check out. You get a PDF with your download link, which is on the order confirmation and in your account, so you can come back for it later.
Frequently asked questions
What size are the papers?
3600 x 3600 px, which is 12 x 12 in at 300 DPI, the standard digital scrapbook page.
Are they seamless patterns?
No. Each paper is a full page with the botanical detail toward the edges, so tiling them would show a seam.
Which apps do they work in?
Procreate, Photoshop, Affinity, Canva, GoodNotes and any app that opens a JPG.
Can I sell things I make with them?
Yes. Finished products such as printed journals and cards are covered by the small-business licence. Reselling the paper files is not.
